Description
The AgriVET project aims to modernise vocational education and training in the agri-food sector in Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda by strengthening the link between education and the labour market. Its main objective is to train a new generation of Value Chain Managers equipped with practical skills in agricultural value chain management, logistics, digitalisation and sustainability.
The project supports the development of innovative training programmes, work-based learning in real professional contexts, and strong cooperation between training institutions and businesses, enhancing employability and entrepreneurial skills—particularly among young people and women—while strengthening the efficiency, resilience and competitiveness of agricultural value chains.
